- WHO AM I -
Il mio suono

Le mie Bambine

I was born in 1973. My parents were 2 “qualified” migrant workers as they moved from the south of Italy into a small, sad, cold town in the deep north, close to Switzerland. Sun and sea were too far, my skin was much swarthier than the other inhabitants one and, above all, the girls were too ugly. I had to punish my parents, so when I was 16 I decided to stop playing my elegant sweat piano (I had been studying since I was a baby…) and began to play the devil’s instrument: electric guitar.

My guilty parents immediately understood my revenge was heinous and tried (in vain) to arrest my musical delirium but it was too late: 70’s and 80’s guitar riffs had once and for all corrupted my brain. And my hair was getting longer…

I began to study guitar in my frozen town and I immediately saw my way: escaping with my lovely powerful guitar far from Siberia. And far from ugly mountains girls. I was playing in a rock band and I was sure to be able to conquer the world. So after an infinite travel (more than 80 miles!!) I arrived to Milan. “The big pear” (it tastes very good with cheese)! I found my house in Zara avenue. I immediately fell in love with smog (it protected me as it was warmer than my town’s hibernating air), with metropolitan ambulances, buses, trams sound and I discovered how can be marvellous a cars queue just watching out of my window. I didn’t see cows walking in the main streets anymore. So, I began studying guitar in a big school, subsequently I had private lessons with Roberto Cecchetto (a wonderful jazz guitarist), I went on the road with coverbands and some young talented rock bands, I began to teach privately in my house, left university to be able to study music and work more and better. When I was 22 my guitarist life was beginning. And my professional adventures as well (see curriculum vitae).
